Design

The biggest consideration in terms of our design was ensuring that it was lightweight. Since our robot has to float on the water, the heavier it is, the less buoyancy it will have. In order to ensure this, we decided on using PVC pipes on the side of our robot. Additionally, almost every part of our robot is hollow, lessening the weight of it. Additionally, our carrying capacity is roughly 216 in^3, making our robot only need maintenance every couple of months.
