Movement System

The propulsion system for this robot utilizes its two back slotted wheels that can turn independently of each other. This independent movement is integral to the steering system. Turning of the robot occurs when one wheel is rotating at a faster rate than the other wheel. If the wheels turn in opposite directions at an equal rate, then the robot will be able to turn in place. This sedentary rotation can allow for the detection system to scan a larger area.
